Overview and Gameplay
Eight Dragonlance companions enter the ruins of Xak Tsaroth to recover the Disks of Mishakal from the black dragon Khisanth. This NES adaptation combines side-view action with party management, inventory use, spellcasting, and maze-like dungeon exploration.
Only the lead hero moves and fights directly, while the party order determines which characters can use certain abilities. Survival depends on conserving health and spells, avoiding pits and traps, collecting useful items, and navigating three main dungeon sections.
