Overview and Gameplay
Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach recreates a full 18-hole round on the famous coastal course. Choose regular or back tees, set a handicap up to 36, then manage clubs, aim, shot shape, power, and impact timing. Hook, draw, straight, fade, and slice options help navigate wind, elevation changes, rough, bunkers, trees, water, and out-of-bounds areas. Course, green, elevation, and putting-grain views provide information before each stroke. A hole’s recorded score is capped at three times par.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions: Choose menu options and clubs, aim shots, select shot shape, and pan the course view.
- A: Confirm choices and control the swing. Full shots use three presses for backswing, power, and impact; putts use two presses for power and contact.
- B: Return from course, shot, score, or close-up displays before the ball is struck.
- Start: Begin the game.
- Two players: Local competitive golf uses alternating turns, with individual handicap selection.
