Overview and Gameplay
The Joker has returned, stealing precious metals for a missile plot that sends Batman from Gotham rooftops and factories to mines, tunnels, military facilities, and an island base. This original NES production combines side-scrolling platform action with run-and-gun combat, boss battles, and two jetpack shooter sections.
Seven named stages contain 13 sublevels. Progress depends on careful jumps, projectile combat, enemy-pattern memorization, and passwords that preserve access to later levels. Three lives and unlimited continues soften an uneven but demanding difficulty curve.
