Overview and Gameplay
Batman and a red Flash-themed partner replace the heroes of Monster in My Pocket in this unauthorized NES graphics hack. The underlying game remains a compact side-scrolling action platformer set across oversized rooms, underground passages, rooftops, a garden, and Monster Mountain.
Players fight short-range enemies, leap between platforms, throw nearby objects, and defeat six major bosses. Health is restored with Heart-in-a-Jar items, while points award extra lives. Three continues restart the current stage from its beginning.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions: Walk, crouch, and drop through suitable platforms.
- A: Jump. Press again near the top of a jump for extra height.
- B: Attack, pick up objects, or throw carried objects.
- Two-player mode: Both players fight simultaneously on the same screen. A defeated player can take a spare life from the surviving partner.
Version Notes
This unlicensed pirate release is also cataloged as Batman Flash and Flash & Batman. It replaces the original playable monsters with superhero-themed sprites but retains the stages, bosses, scoring, controls, and cooperative structure.
