Overview and Gameplay
Chef Peter Pepper races across ladders and platforms to build giant hamburgers while hot dogs, eggs, and pickles chase him. Walking over every section of an ingredient drops it toward the plates below. Complete every burger to clear the board.
This NES conversion of Data East’s 1982 arcade game contains six main board layouts. The sequence repeats with faster, more aggressive enemies, placing greater emphasis on route planning and careful use of limited pepper.
Controls And Mechanics
- Use the directional pad to walk and climb ladders.
- Either action button throws pepper, briefly stunning nearby enemies.
- Falling ingredients can crush enemies or carry them downward for extra points.
- Bonus foods award points and can replenish pepper.
- Two players compete for scores by taking alternating turns.
Version Notes
The USA cartridge was published by Data East USA. The earlier Japanese Famicom cartridge used Namco branding, while the later Famicom Disk System edition was a separate release.
