Overview and Gameplay
Five bird-themed heroes defend Earth from the dimensional invaders of Vyram in this compact adaptation of the Japanese Super Sentai television series. Choose a Jetman, battle through side-scrolling action stages, and finish each area with a giant-robot duel.
The five opening areas can be tackled with some freedom before a final stage becomes available. Each hero has different health, attack strength, and weapon range, while a defeated team member can be replaced by another Jetman.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move, crouch, jump, and attack through short platforming stages filled with soldiers, flying enemies, turrets, and hazards.
- Collect hearts to restore health and items that provide a limited screen-clearing special attack.
- Robot battles use health bars, blocking, and a four-level power meter for increasingly strong attacks.
- Battle Mode allows solo practice against the first five giant monsters.
- Passwords save progress, while Easy, Normal, and unlockable higher difficulty settings alter the challenge.
Version Notes
This Family Computer release was exclusive to Japan and received no official English localization. Its limited text makes the main action relatively approachable without Japanese fluency.
