Overview and Gameplay
A tapir-like dream guide sends a custom-built hero to rescue Princess Rua in a surreal world of toys, playing cards, strange animals, and celestial scenery. Cocoron is a Japanese Famicom action-platformer directed by early Mega Man designer Akira Kitamura.
Players combine a face, body, and weapon to create heroes with different movement, jumping, endurance, and attack traits. The map allows routes to be tackled in a flexible order, while defeated bosses unlock opportunities to build additional characters for later challenges.
