Overview and Gameplay
F.O.W.L. has unleashed a crime wave across St. Canard, sending Darkwing Duck after Quackerjack, Megavolt, Bushroot, the Liquidator, and other familiar villains. Capcom’s single-player NES adventure combines precise platforming with gas-gun combat, defensive cape use, boss battles, and hidden bonus areas.
Three missions are available at first. Completing them unlocks three more stages, followed by the final assault on F.O.W.L.’s fortress and a confrontation with Steelbeak. Diamonds, gold bars, health kits, extra chances, and concealed GO markers reward careful exploration.
