Overview and Gameplay
Scrooge McDuck follows a fragmented treasure map across Niagara Falls, the Bermuda Triangle, Mu, Egypt, and Scotland while racing Flintheart Glomgold to the Lost Treasure of McDuck. This NES sequel is a side-view action platformer with nonlinear stage selection, revisitable locations, bosses, secret routes, and seven map pieces that unlock an extra underground area.
Diamonds and special treasures serve as both wealth and shop currency. Between expeditions, Scrooge can buy health recovery, extra lives, a continue item, money protection, health extensions, and one map piece. Three permanent adapters strengthen his cane attacks, golf swings, and pulling power. Different endings depend on map completion and remaining money.
