Overview and Gameplay
A foreign warrior answers the king of Faria after the princess is taken by the forces of a revived Wizard. The quest begins in Ehdo, then expands across ten towns, towers, caves, sea routes, mountain paths, and a later sky region. Towns provide information, equipment, healing, and travel services, while dungeons hold key items and bosses that open the next route.
Random encounters on the world map lead to real-time overhead battles. Enemies award experience and gold, and higher levels improve the warrior’s combat strength. Swords, armor, shields, bows, and movement upgrades support progress through increasingly dangerous regions.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the warrior. A swings the sword, while SELECT cycles through equipped battle items and B activates the current choice. Bows consume arrows, bombs and Sede or Saba magic use separate supplies, Magic Glasses reveal invisible enemies, and Jump Shoes assist movement.
Caves may require Light and Battery power, while Flash Balls provide an emergency exit. Wings return to visited towns, medicine restores HP, and antidotes treat poison. Inns save the adventure in one of three logs. Defeat returns the warrior to the last save with half the accumulated gold.
