Overview and Gameplay
Joshua leads the Israelites toward Canaan in a top-down action puzzle game inspired by the Book of Joshua. Each timed stage requires five question symbols, a quota of valuable objects, and a route to the exit. Rocks, treasure, walls, and enemies react to gravity, so careless digging or explosions can block progress. The game contains 100 numbered stages, 20 hidden bonus levels, passwords, and Bible questions that award extra plays.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions: Move Joshua around the playfield.
- A: Blow the trumpet to clear terrain and affect enemies.
- B: Place a limited Ram’s Horn, which explodes in a nearby area.
- Start: Pause or resume play.
- Power-ups improve trumpet range and strength, grant temporary protection, freeze enemies, or alter movement.
- Two-player mode uses alternating turns rather than simultaneous play.
Version Notes
This is the USA Version 6.0 release. Wisdom Tree published it without Nintendo licensing.
