Overview and Gameplay
Lucifer has conquered most of Atlantis, leaving the player to assemble a fantasy army and reclaim four regions. King of Kings is a turn-based strategy game developed by Atlus for the Famicom. Players recruit units, capture settlements, protect their King, and defeat every opposing King.
Controlled towns and castles generate money for hiring and restoring troops. Terrain affects movement and defense, while food limits how far units can travel without resupply. Units earn experience, gain levels, and may advance into stronger classes. Combat emphasizes matchups between unit types rather than relying on raw strength alone.
