Overview and Gameplay
Mappy follows a police mouse into Nyamco’s mansion to recover ten stolen valuables while avoiding the Mewkies. Each normal round ends when every item has been collected. The mansion’s floors are connected by trampolines, and bonus rounds appear after rounds 3, 7, 11, and 15. Later play repeats the layouts with faster and more numerous enemies.
Controls And Mechanics
Mappy moves across floors and steers toward platforms while bouncing. Ordinary doors knock nearby cats backward, while power doors release a wave that carries enemies offscreen. Repeated trampoline use changes its color until it breaks, but landing on a floor resets it.
Valuables form five matching pairs, and collecting matching items consecutively raises the score multiplier. Nyamco sometimes hides behind an item for an extra 1,000 points. Bells and floor traps can drop enemies for bonus points. Contact with a cat on a floor or falling through a broken trampoline costs a life. Two-player mode alternates after a miss.
