Overview and Gameplay
Bugs Bunny enters a trap-filled castle to rescue Honey Bunny from Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Wile E. Coyote, and Yosemite Sam. Each of the 60 stages requires collecting eight carrots while avoiding enemies and planning routes through stairs, pipes, doors, and drops. Bugs cannot jump, so success depends on timing, enemy movement, and careful navigation.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move left or right, climb stairs, and enter pipes or doorways with the directional pad.
- Use either action button to throw a collected boxing glove.
- Push safes, crates, buckets, and 10-ton weights into enemies or drop them from above.
- Magic Carrot Juice provides temporary protection and lets Bugs defeat enemies by contact.
- Completing a stage awards an extra life, while passwords allow later stages to be resumed.
- This is a single-player game.
Version Notes
The USA NES release is a rethemed conversion of Kemco’s Japanese Famicom Disk System game Roger Rabbit. Roger Rabbit characters and hearts were replaced with Looney Tunes characters and carrots. The Game Boy title of the same name is a separate version with different stages.
