Overview and Gameplay
A strange coin pulls Skooter into the fantasy worlds of Treasure Master, a side-view NES quest built around platforming, enemies, and careful item use.
The game sends the player through five ordered worlds, including islands, the moon, machinery, a forest, and a microchip setting. Progress depends on finding tools, choosing the right one from the selection screen, and using it at the correct obstacle or question-mark spot. The original USA release also connected to a 1992 prize contest with a password-gated Prize World after the main quest.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move, crouch, climb, and jump through side-scrolling stages while watching Skooter’s energy, timer, lives, score, and selected tool.
- Items drive progression: boots, bombs, keys, oxygen, a ray gun, command cards, vehicles, and transformation credits all solve specific stage problems.
- Vehicles such as the submarine and moon buggy change movement and attacks for certain areas.
- This is a solo game; the second NES controller is not used.
Version Notes
