Overview and Gameplay

Illegal motorcycle racing meets roadside brawling in Road Rash II, an Electronic Arts sequel built for the Sega Genesis. Race through Hawaii, Arizona, Tennessee, Alaska, and Vermont while dodging traffic, wildlife, obstacles, and motorcycle police. Finish third or better on every course to advance through five increasingly difficult levels.

Prize money buys faster bikes and pays for repairs and fines. The 15 motorcycles span Ultra Light, Super Bike, and Nitro classes, with different speed, weight, handling, and cost. Passwords preserve your level, motorcycle, and bankroll.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Steer with the directional controls, accelerate, brake, and attack nearby riders with punches, kicks, clubs, or chains.
  • Nitro bikes can spend limited boost charges for bursts of speed.
  • Riders and motorcycles have separate condition meters. A crash can leave you running back to your bike.
  • Two-player options include alternating races, simultaneous split-screen competition, and one-on-one Mano a Mano battles. There is no cooperative campaign.
