Overview and Gameplay
Dr. Kiln spreads strange clay emissions over Mudville, setting up a comic one-on-one fighting tournament between clay warriors. This SNES sequel keeps the series’ stop-motion-style clay look while focusing on standard 2D fighting rules, character matchups, special moves, and round-based battles.
In the main game, the player chooses a fighter and battles CPU opponents, usually needing two round wins to advance. VS Mode supports direct two-player fights, while Tournament mode lets multiple entrants compete through bracket formats.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement covers walking, jumping, crouching, blocking, and directional special-move inputs.
- Each fighter uses three punch strengths and three kick strengths.
- Matches use energy bars and a round timer; if time runs out, the fighter with more energy wins.
- Special moves depend on character-specific directional inputs and timing.
- Two-player versus play is supported, with a second player able to join during single-player fights.
