Overview and Gameplay
F1 ROC: Race of Champions builds its Formula One-style racing around a 16-race international championship. The player qualifies, races for prize money, pays entry fees, repairs damage, and invests winnings into car setup between events.
Controls And Mechanics
- Races use steering, acceleration, braking, nitro boost, and transmission controls depending on the selected setup.
- Qualifying decides starting position before the final race.
- Damage from crashes can reduce prize money, while pit stops repair the car at the cost of time.
- The game supports alternating play for multiple drivers, not simultaneous split-screen racing or co-op.
Version Notes
This is the North American SNES version titled F1 ROC: Race of Champions. The same base game was released in Japan and Europe as Exhaust Heat.
