Overview and Gameplay
The Skull Cross gang rises in Metro City after Mad Gear’s fall, bringing Mike Haggar, Guy, Lucia, and Dean into another street war. Final Fight 3 is a SNES-original sequel with four playable fighters and expanded brawling systems.
Players move through side-scrolling stages, defeat enemy groups, grab and throw opponents, use weapons, collect recovery items, and fight bosses. The game adds dashing, Super moves, branching paths, and multiple endings, giving it more variety than the earlier SNES entries.
Controls And Mechanics
- Combat uses punches, jumps, grabs, throws, dash attacks, Mega Crush moves, and character-specific techniques.
- A Super bar fills as enemies are damaged, allowing a stronger Super move when charged.
- Branching routes can change the path through Metro City and affect the ending.
- Two players can fight together in simultaneous co-op.
