Overview and Gameplay
Five frogs must reach the home bays at the top of the screen by surviving traffic, river hazards, and a strict timer. Frogger on SNES is Majesco’s late Super Nintendo version of the classic arcade format, keeping the road-and-river challenge intact.
Controls And Mechanics
- Hop through traffic lanes, then ride logs, turtles, and crocodiles across the river.
- Each stage is cleared by guiding five frogs into the open bays.
- Points are awarded for safe movement, reaching bays, eating flies, rescuing the log frog, and completing a level.
- Two-player mode is alternating play, with each player taking turns after losing a frog.
Version Notes
This is the 1998 USA SNES version by Majesco, separate from the 1997 PlayStation and Windows remake.
