Outworld becomes the battleground in Mortal Kombat II, where Earthrealm fighters face Shang Tsung, Kintaro, and Shao Kahn in a darker tournament sequel. The SNES version adapts the arcade game into best-of-three one-on-one fights with an expanded roster, special moves, and finishing systems.
Controls And Mechanics
- Fighters use high and low punches, high and low kicks, blocks, throws, sweeps, uppercuts, jump attacks, and character-specific special moves.
- The solo ladder leads through regular opponents and boss battles.
- Finishing options include Fatalities, Friendships, Babalities, and stage-specific finishers.
- Two-player mode is direct versus fighting, not cooperative play.
