Overview and Gameplay
Captain J.T. Robbins is dumped into Absolom, a prison island ruled by violent inmates and guarded by the system that abandoned him. Based on the 1994 film, No Escape mixes side-scrolling action with survival-style item use.
Robbins explores island areas, fights or avoids enemies, collects objects, trades at the Insider camp, and combines items into weapons or tools needed to reach an escape route.
Controls And Mechanics
- Robbins can run, jump, roll, climb ledges, crouch walk, punch, kick, and use equipped weapons.
- The inventory screen is central: only one item can be equipped at a time, and certain areas require the right object.
- Energy, lives, timer, ammo, and environment icons shape each area. Running out of energy or time costs a life.
- This SNES version is single-player only.
