Overview and Gameplay
Volleyball Twin combines two styles of volleyball on SNES: six-player indoor volleyball and 2-on-2 beach volleyball. Matches focus on positioning, serve choice, receiving, setting, spiking, blocking, and reading the opponent’s attack.
The game includes CPU matches, training-style play, tournament competition, and two-player matches. Its Japanese release later appeared in North America under the title Dig & Spike Volleyball.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions move players and aim spikes.
- A, B, X, and Y cover different serves, receives, attacks, spikes, feints, and blocks.
- L and R adjust set direction, back-row movement, and blocking direction.
- Two players can compete against each other or play together on the same team.
Version Notes
This entry covers the Japanese Super Famicom release titled Volleyball Twin. The North American version is known as Dig & Spike Volleyball.
