Overview and Gameplay
Fire Pro Wrestling presents 2D professional wrestling with a roster exceeding 150 fictionalized wrestlers based on different wrestling and combat styles. Matches are won by pinfall, submission, knockout, count-out, or rules set for the selected format.
One Night Match supports configurable exhibitions. Tournament, Open League, Elimination, and Survival arrange matches into brackets, standings, team contests, or consecutive challenges. Audience Match scores each performance according to a chosen crowd style and unlocks additional wrestlers. Edit mode allows custom appearances, attributes, skills, teams, and move sets.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the wrestler and selects directional grapple techniques. Grapples begin when opponents meet, and attacks must be entered with correct timing. B performs weak attacks, A performs medium attacks, and A with B activates strong techniques. Stronger moves become more reliable after the opponent has taken damage.
L restores breathing while standing and handles actions such as tagging or dragging an opponent. R runs and performs an Irish whip from suitable grapples. Select triggers an appeal. Difficulty has ten settings, while match options cover rope escapes, disqualifications, submissions, knockouts, and count-outs.
Game Link Cable play supports simultaneous competitive matches for up to four systems, including singles, tag matches, handicap contests, and Battle Royals.
