Overview and Gameplay
Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium is a deep 16-bit wrestling simulation built around timing, stamina, and move selection instead of button mashing. Players choose from a large roster of fictionalized wrestlers, enter tournaments, leagues, title matches, battle royals, and elimination matches, then wear opponents down before attempting bigger throws, submissions, pins, and finishers.
Controls And Mechanics
- Grapples are decided by timing; pressing too early or choosing a big move too soon can lead to reversals.
- Weak, medium, and strong attacks serve different roles as damage builds through a match.
- Rope running, corner attacks, turnbuckle dives, pins, submissions, taunts, and ring-out situations give matches a simulation feel.
- Multiplayer supports simultaneous versus play, with tag setups allowing two players to fight on the same side.
Version Notes
This version uses Sydra’s R7 English fan translation of the Japan-only Super Famicom release, making the menus and text practical for English-language play. It is not an official North American or European release.
