Overview and Gameplay
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 sends professional and created skaters through six isometric locations: Foundry, Suburbia, Rio, Airport, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Career runs use timed objectives such as score targets, collecting S-K-A-T-E, finding hidden tapes, completing landmark tricks, gathering Stat Points, and locating new decks.
Rio and Tokyo are competitions scored across three runs. Pro Tour and Sponsored Tour use revised goals, higher targets, and changed collectible positions. Tutorial, Single Session, Free Skate, and the unlockable Trial Mode provide additional ways to practice or pursue objectives.
Controls And Mechanics
Ollies lead into flip tricks, grabs, grinds, lip tricks, manuals, wallrides, and reverts. Manuals and reverts extend combinations, spins raise the multiplier, and repeated tricks lose value. Falling before landing removes the unbanked combo score. Successful tricks fill the Special Bar, enabling assigned special moves.
Linked multiplayer supports Trick Attack, Tag, King of the Hill, H-O-R-S-E, and Free Skate for up to four participants, while H-O-R-S-E also supports alternating hot-seat play.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance adaptation uses a fixed isometric view, redesigned level layouts, GBA-specific objective placements, and handheld multiplayer modes.
