Overview and Gameplay

Final Fire ProWrestling: Yume no Dantai Unei! features timing-based wrestling matches and a promotion-management campaign. One Night Match offers singles, tag, handicap, battle royal, deathmatch, and octagonal fighting formats. Practice teaches the match system, while Edit mode allows custom wrestlers.

Management of the Ring follows a promotion across monthly events. The player recruits wrestlers, negotiates contracts, selects venues, books each card, sets ticket prices, funds publicity, and manages television and merchandise. Attendance, revenue, expenses, regional popularity, wrestler morale, and match ratings affect later decisions.

Controls And Mechanics

The directional pad moves the wrestler and modifies techniques. A, B, and combined button inputs perform context-sensitive strikes, grapples, running attacks, grounded moves, corner techniques, and aerial attacks. Grapple success depends on pressing the command at the correct moment after the wrestlers make contact.

Victory conditions vary by match rules and can include pinfall, submission, elimination, or specialized deathmatch conditions. Game Link Cable matches allow simultaneous competition in supported One Night Match formats.
