Overview and Gameplay
Mickey Mania 7 sends Mickey through five stages based on classic cartoon settings, including Steamboat Willie, The Mad Doctor, Moose Hunters, Mickey and the Beanstalk, and The Prince and the Pauper. Ten playable sequences feature platforming, moving machinery, auto-scrolling hazards, environmental objectives, and battles with Pete. Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty settings are available, while starting tries can be set to 5, 10, or 30.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves Mickey, crouches, looks upward, and controls applicable rope or platform sections. A and B handle jumping and marble attacks. Mickey can bounce on enemies and throw marbles while ammunition remains. Marble bags refill the supply, and stars award five marbles. The hand-shaped health display allows four hits before one try is lost.
Version Notes
This unlicensed Famicom/NES adaptation condenses the Super Nintendo game into five stages and ten sequences. It uses simplified movement, removes continue points, and changes stars into ammunition rewards. The ending credits spell Mickey as Miki.
