Overview and Gameplay
Billy Lee fights through four missions to rescue Marian from the Black Warriors. This NES adaptation reshapes the 1987 arcade brawler with redesigned stages, environmental hazards, platforming sections, and a new final confrontation with Jimmy Lee as the Shadow Boss.
Combat points also serve as experience. Roughly every 1,000 points adds a heart, raises Billy’s technical level, and unlocks stronger techniques. Weapons include bats, whips, knives, dynamite, rocks, boxes, and oil drums.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move in eight directions, punch, kick, and press both action buttons to jump.
- Double-tap left or right for a headbutt in the story mode.
- Higher heart levels unlock uppercuts, jump kicks, grapples, throws, ground attacks, an elbow, and a spin kick.
- Mode A supports solo play or two players taking alternating turns. Mode B is a simultaneous competitive fighting mode, not story co-op.
Version Notes
