Overview and Gameplay
A fast-paced baseball simulation built around real MLBPA player rosters, R.B.I. Baseball turns every inning into a mix of timing, positioning, and quick decision-making. You pick from a set of city-based teams and manage pitching rotations, batting order, and substitutions while competing through full games or a short season structure. Each player on the field carries individual strengths, shaping how pitching duels, base running, and defensive plays unfold.
Controls And Mechanics
- Batting focuses on timing swings and adjusting position in the batter’s box for better contact or bunting options
- Pitching includes selecting different pitch types and placing throws with directional control before release
- Fielding automatically selects the nearest defender while allowing throws to specific bases
- Base running uses directional selection to advance, retreat, or steal depending on the situation
- Two-player mode allows competitive head-to-head games where each player controls opposing teams
