Overview and Gameplay
Street gangs take over River City, and two students push back through brawling districts filled with rival fighters and shop stops. Combat blends side-scrolling action with character growth, as defeated enemies drop money used to boost stats or buy food, tools, and skill books. Progress unfolds through connected city zones instead of linear stages, encouraging exploration and repeated fights to strengthen characters.
The structure mixes arcade-style combat with light RPG systems, where improving attributes like strength and defense changes how encounters play out over time. Boss fights punctuate key areas, each guarding control over parts of the city.
