Overview and Gameplay
Billy and Jimmy Lee return in a side-scrolling beat ’em up built specifically for SNES. The brothers fight the Black Shadow Warriors across mission-based stages, using punches, kicks, throws, weapons, and Dragon Power techniques to clear each area.
Controls And Mechanics
- Y punches, A kicks, X jumps, and B blocks enemy attacks.
- L or R charges the Dragon Power Gauge for stronger special techniques.
- Weapons such as nunchaku, knives, staffs, and bombs can be used during fights.
- Two-player modes support simultaneous play: Mode A prevents friendly damage, while Mode B allows it.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL release under the title Super Double Dragon. The Japanese version is titled Return of Double Dragon and includes extra options and a longer final mission compared with the Western version.
