Overview and Gameplay
The Garland TFF-01 fighter attacks the Imperial Earth Army with a weapon built to seize control of enemy Bio-Cyborg machines.
This SNES version is a horizontal scrolling shooter based on the arcade game. The player flies through enemy waves, hazards, and bosses while using normal fire and the Tranquilander, a device that can disable certain Bio-Cyborgs. Flying into a disabled Bio-Cyborg lets the player control that form and use its weapons until it is destroyed.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move through auto-scrolling stages while avoiding bullets, terrain, and mechanical enemies.
- Use the Tranquilander to stun eligible Bio-Cyborgs, then take over their forms.
- Captured forms act as temporary powered ships with their own attacks and durability.
- Difficulty options are available in the SNES version.
- The SNES port is single-player only.
Version Notes
- This is the US SNES version of an arcade shooter released the same year.
