Overview and Gameplay
A party of four heroes crosses Drakkhen Island, a strange dragon-ruled world divided into elemental regions. The SNES version adapts Infogrames’ computer RPG into a console interface, mixing outdoor 3D-style travel with 2D interior screens for castles, rooms, treasures, and encounters.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players create and manage a four-character party with classes, stats, equipment, items, and spells.
- Outdoor travel uses a first-person 3D-style view, while interiors use command icons for actions such as looking, speaking, taking items, and switching characters.
- Combat is handled through party preparation, equipment, magic, and escape attempts rather than direct action attacks.
- The game is solo only, with one controller used for play.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release, published in Europe by Infogrames. It is a console port of the earlier computer RPG and is separate from its later sequel, Dragon View.
