Fatal Fury 2 continues SNK’s Southtown fighting series with a larger world tournament and Wolfgang Krauser as the new threat. The SNES version features eight standard fighters, including Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, and Kim Kaphwan.
Controls And Mechanics
- Combat uses weak and strong punches, weak and strong kicks, throws, guards, jumps, crouches, and command-input special moves.
- The two-plane system lets fighters shift between foreground and background positions during battle.
- Matches use timed rounds, strength gauges, scores, continues, and best-of-three round rules.
- Two players can fight in versus mode, including a team elimination match mode.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES version of Fatal Fury 2. The Japanese title is Garou Densetsu 2: Arata-naru Tatakai. The verified tag reflects dump status, not gameplay content.
