Overview and Gameplay
Fatal Fury brings SNK’s Southtown tournament fighter to the European SNES. Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi enter the King of Fighters tournament, battling toward Geese Howard through one-on-one rounds.
Controls And Mechanics
- Combat uses movement, jumping, crouching, guarding, punches, kicks, throws, and command-input special moves.
- The playable single-player roster is limited to Terry, Andy, and Joe.
- Matches follow standard fighting-game rules with life bars, timed rounds, and continues.
- Two players can fight in versus-style play, with no long-term progression or save system.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES version of the first Fatal Fury. The original arcade and Neo Geo title is also known as Fatal Fury: King of Fighters and Garou Densetsu.
