Overview and Gameplay
Goofy and Max land on Spoonerville Island after Keelhaul Pete kidnaps Pete and PJ. The game is a top-down puzzle-action adventure where players explore pirate-filled rooms, collect keys, solve block puzzles, use tools, and defeat bosses through object throwing and careful movement rather than a normal attack system.
Controls And Mechanics
- Objects such as barrels, pots, bombs, and blocks are used to defeat enemies and trigger puzzles.
- Special tools include items such as the hookshot, shovel, board, bell, and candle for stage-specific progress.
- Keys, switches, gates, and block layouts drive most room progression.
- Two players can play simultaneously, with one controlling Goofy and the other controlling Max.
