Overview and Gameplay
Wild Ultra pitches and ordinary baseball share the same diamond in Super Baseball Simulator 1.000. Players bat, pitch, field, run bases, and manage games across Exhibition and Season modes, with options for short games or full-length baseball.
The game includes 18 teams across three leagues, plus editing tools for creating original teams. Its Ultra League is the main twist: special batting, pitching, and fielding plays can change the flow of an inning with effects far beyond normal baseball.
Controls And Mechanics
- The directional pad moves players, aims pitches, navigates menus, and selects bases.
- A is used for core actions such as swinging, pitching, throwing, confirming, and returning runners.
- B cancels in menus, advances runners, and is used for dives or fielding movement.
- X opens Ultra Play selection when an eligible team has Ultra Points.
- Y is used for stealing, pickoff setup, and field-view actions.
- Two-player mode is competitive local baseball, not co-op.
