Overview and Gameplay
The Five Dastardly Bombers return under Professor Bugler, sending Bomberman across themed planets and a final battleship. Super Bomberman 3 builds its maze action around bombs, soft blocks, enemies, control capsules, stage chips, boss fights, passwords, score, time limits, and Louie mounts.
Normal Game supports solo play or simultaneous two-player co-op with shared stock. Battle Game expands the local chaos with Battle Royal, Tag Match, Bad Bomber revenge play, computer opponents, and up to five players with a Multi-Tap.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move through maze stages, place bombs, break blocks, and time blast chains to clear enemies or trap rivals.
- Power-ups add remote detonation, bomb kicking, bomb throwing, stronger fire, extra bombs, and Louie abilities.
- Louie mounts give Bomberman an extra hit and a color-specific special move.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release of Super Bomberman 3. The title remains unchanged, and this entry was released in Japan and PAL regions rather than North America.
