Overview and Gameplay
Caravan Shooting Collection gathers three Hudson Caravan tournament shooters on one Super Famicom cartridge: Star Force, Star Soldier, and Hector ’87, also known as Starship Hector.
The collection is built around vertical shooting, survival, enemy waves, score play, and fast stage progress. Each included game keeps its own rhythm: Star Force focuses on direct arcade-style shooting, Star Soldier adds speed and obstacle-heavy play, and Hector ’87 uses a slower ship with air and ground targets.
Controls And Mechanics
- The player selects one of the three shooters from a simple collection menu.
- Gameplay centers on moving the ship, firing at enemies, dodging shots, and chasing higher scores.
- The collection preserves the older Famicom-style shooter structure rather than adding a new campaign.

This is a Japan-only Super Famicom compilation. The menu is English-friendly, while the games themselves are mostly arcade-style shooters with minimal text.
