Overview and Gameplay
Perfect Cell, Bojack, Broly, and other late Dragon Ball Z fighters meet in a SNES versus game built around long-distance energy combat. Dragon Ball Z: La Légende Saien is the French PAL version of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2.
Fights use close attacks, ki blasts, special moves, flight, and a split-screen system when opponents move far apart. Story mode follows Dragon Ball Z battles from the Cell-era setting with extra movie characters, while versus and tournament modes focus on direct competition.
Controls And Mechanics
- Combat shifts between close-range punches and kicks, aerial movement, and long-range energy attacks.
- The split-screen view allows fighters to separate vertically or across the arena while still attacking.
- Ki charging, beam struggles, super blasts, and defensive reactions are central to high-power fights.
- Two-player mode is competitive one-on-one fighting, not co-op.
Version Notes
This ROM is based on the French PAL release La Légende Saien and carries an English translation tag. The original Japanese title is Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2.
