Overview and Gameplay

Banglar rules a dystopian country until the resistance sends three android warriors into his army. This SNES beat-’em-up lets players choose Ninja, Kunoichi, or Kamaitachi, each with different speed, reach, and attack style.

Action stays on a single horizontal plane instead of a belt-scrolling arena. Stages are linear fights against soldiers, machines, bosses, and hazards, with score, time limits, health, and a charging Blaster Meter shaping each mission.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Directions move the android and combine with attacks for character-specific moves.
  • Y attacks or guards, B jumps, and X uses the Blaster attack when the meter is full.
  • Ninja is slow and powerful, Kunoichi is balanced and agile, and Kamaitachi is fast with blade-focused attacks.
  • The game is solo only, with no two-player, versus, or co-op mode in this SNES version.

Version Notes

This is the European PAL SNES release, sold as Ninja Warriors: The New Generation. The Japanese Super Famicom title is The Ninja Warriors Again, and Western releases include localization edits to enemies, blood effects, and intro wording.
