Overview and Gameplay
Wario’s Woods puts Toad inside the puzzle field rather than above it. Players lift, stack, kick, and rearrange monsters and bombs, clearing enemies by matching a bomb with monsters of the same color.
Bomb Time adds useful bombs, while Monster Time lets Wario and Black Bat drop more pieces and lower the ceiling. Modes include Round Game, Time Race, training, CPU battles, and two-player versus play.
Controls And Mechanics
- A moves stacks, while B handles single monsters or bombs.
- Y kicks pieces, and L or R kicks them left or right.
- X helps Toad escape from the bottom of a stack.
- Clearing large groups can create diamonds that remove every monster of one color.
- Two-player mode is simultaneous versus, not co-op.
