Overview and Gameplay
Colored bubbles rise in four-piece groups across a hexagonal playfield. Move and flip each formation to connect four or more bubbles of the same color before the stack crosses the danger line. Clearing bubbles can open spaces for chain reactions, while progress unlocks adult-themed intermission scenes.
Type A contains 24 boards across four character stages, with speed increasing through each six-level set. Type B has 20 boards and asks players to clear letter bubbles that spell MAGIC. It begins with obstructing layouts and is the harder mode.
Controls And Mechanics
- Use the directional pad to position groups and speed their movement.
- A flips a formation vertically, while B flips it horizontally.
- Transforming bubbles recolor nearby pieces. Collecting the required MAGIC letters stores a special clearing effect.
- Two players can play simultaneously on separate side-by-side boards. They do not attack each other, and one may continue after the other loses.
Version Notes
This English-language Panesian release is an unlicensed North American adaptation of the Japanese Famicom game Soap Panic. The related Mermaids of Atlantis is a separate, sanitized revision rather than an alternate regional title.
