Overview and Gameplay
Yoshi turns Mario’s world into a falling-block puzzle game. Instead of controlling the falling pieces directly, the player moves Mario under four stacks and swaps neighboring columns so matching enemies meet and disappear.
Goombas, Bloopers, Boos, Piranha Plants, and Yoshi egg halves fall from above. Matching enemies clears them, while placing a top egg half onto a bottom egg half hatches Yoshi. Trapping enemies between egg halves clears them for extra points.
