Overview and Gameplay
Imoto descends into the Abyss after Shizuka, the keeper of a sealing talisman, is taken by demonic forces. Musya: The Classic Japanese Tale of Horror is a side-scrolling SNES action platformer with Japanese folklore horror imagery, spear combat, magic, and boss fights.
Controls And Mechanics
- Imoto attacks with a spear, crouches, jumps, performs a spin attack, and can retreat left or right.
- Magic spells provide limited-use attacks and support during stages.
- The game is structured across seven stages, each divided into multiple levels with sub-boss encounters.
- Play is single-player only.

This is based on the USA SNES release of Musya, localized from the Japanese Super Famicom game Gousou Shinrai Densetsu: Musya. This build is a trainer-modified variant.
