Overview and Gameplay
Rap Basketball is an unreleased SNES prototype for a rapper-themed half-court basketball game. The preserved build shows an early 2-on-2 concept, but it is far from a finished sports game: opponents stand still, the teammate follows the player, and scoring and shooting are not functional.
Controls And Mechanics
- Prototype play: The player can move around the half court, run, and control the bouncing ball.
- Incomplete rules: There is no working shot, no scoring loop, and no confirmed full match structure.
- On-court setup: The build presents a 2-on-2 basketball layout, but confirmed human multiplayer support is not present.
Version Notes
This is a USA-labeled pre-release prototype, not a retail SNES game. It is a separate cancelled project and should not be treated as Rap Jam: Volume One.
