Overview and Gameplay
A rotating overhead rally view gives Super Drift Out its sharp identity: the car stays near the center while the course swings around each bend. The main WRC Game spans eight rounds and twenty courses, with players choosing a rally car and trying to finish high enough overall to continue.
Controls And Mechanics
- A accelerates, while releasing it can help with engine braking.
- B brakes, and holding it lets the car reverse.
- Drifting is performed by tapping the accelerator twice while cornering.
- Start or Select pauses during a race, and Time Attack includes a VTR-style replay after finishing.
Version Notes
This is the Japanese Super Famicom release, also known by the subtitle World Rally Championships. A North American Accolade version was planned but not commercially released.
