Overview and Gameplay
The story follows Future Trunks, the Android conflict, and the Cell Games. Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Goku become playable as the campaign advances through towns, wilderness areas, laboratories, and battlefields.
Combat and completed quests award experience to each fighter. Level gains improve health, energy, melee strength, energy power, and defense, while capsules provide permanent stat increases. Character Barriers require a specific hero and level, opening story routes, optional areas, and collectibles. Save Circles also allow character changes.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves and navigates menus; double-tapping a direction makes the active fighter sprint. A performs melee attacks, interacts, collects objects, and confirms selections. Holding A charges a special melee attack after it is learned. B uses the selected energy technique and charges compatible attacks.
L cycles through energy attacks and transformations. Super Saiyan and Super Namek forms increase combat ability while draining energy. R opens the Scouter map, Select activates scanning mode, and Start opens character statistics. The Scouter records enemies and reveals explored terrain, while the Dragon Radar marks Dragon Ball locations.
