Overview and Gameplay
Camilla resurrects Dracula and captures vampire hunter Morris Baldwin. His apprentice Nathan Graves explores an interconnected castle, defeats bosses, rescues Morris, and gains movement abilities that open new routes. Save rooms restore health and magic, warp rooms connect distant areas, and the map records explored chambers.
Enemies provide experience points and may drop equipment, recovery items, or DSS cards. Completing the adventure unlocks Magician, Fighter, Shooter, and Thief modes, each changing Nathan’s statistics or available abilities.
Controls And Mechanics
Nathan attacks with the Hunter Whip and can spin it to block nearby threats. Daggers, axes, holy water, crucifixes, and the stopwatch consume Hearts. Equipment changes combat statistics, while leveling increases strength and maximum resources.
The Dual Set-up System pairs one Action Card with one Attribute Card. Its 100 combinations produce elemental attacks, summons, defensive effects, healing powers, and stat changes while consuming MP. Losing all HP returns play to the last saved position.
Version Notes
The North American release uses English text and requires more experience for level gains than the Japanese edition, slowing character growth.
